Ben’s work Christmas celebration was tonight. It was held at Orange hill in Orange, CA.
This location has the most fantastic views! It’s on a hill (shocking) as well as you can see for miles as well as miles. There are outside terminate pits so you can take pleasure in the views year ‘round too! Tonight was chilly by SoCal standards, around 48 or so, however the terminate pits made it pleasant.
As soon as we shown up I got a Vodka tonic.

We sat inside, however there were significant windows so we might take pleasure in the view with dinner. Luckily, it was a remove night.
Appetizers included crab stuffed mushrooms. I miss MD crab!
Hot, doughy sourdough rolls with butter were served before the salad course. I cannot turn down a hot roll. Cannot as well as will not.
For my primary meal I bought the grilled salmon. Fact: If there is salmon on the menu I get it every time. Or at least 99 times out of 100.

This was the very first petit four I’ve ever had! It’s a huge night right here in RER land.
Except I kept pronouncing it “Petite Four” as well as even when corrected 3 times couldn’t get it right. Oh well. Oh well. It was chocolate as well as I was happy.
Ben’s good friend Brian got me a champagne as well as raspberry liquor drink. I believe I like champagne even a lot more after tonight – if that’s even possible!
After dinner as well as chatting as well as fun we went outside to take pleasure in the views.
I had only satisfied one of Ben’s colleagues before so it was truly excellent to get to spend time with everyone. I had a excellent time
